CIVITTA is evaluating Eastern Partnership projects in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine
2016-09-29Civitta is implementing the Mid-term evaluation of Eastern Partnership (EaP) Integrated Border Management (IBM) Capacity Building Project in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine funded by EU and commissioned by Frontex, located in Warsaw, Poland.
The main goal of the project being evaluated is to facilitate the movement of persons and goods across the border in the 6 EaP countries (through the EU's external borders and between the EaP countries) while ensuring border security through strengthening inter-agency, bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The evaluation, undertaken at the midpoint of the project implementation, will cover 24 months of activities undergone from July 2014 to June 2016 in 6 EaP -countries and aim at bringing forward lessons learned and deriving recommendations from the project implementation in order to improve the project planning, design and management for both current and future similar initiatives.
