Organizing a hackathon to develop IT tools, platforms and apps2016-06-07
Civitta Moldova together with 48 Garage from Estonia will organize a hackathon for supporting NGOs, start-ups and software developers in developing innovative information solution to address corruption and engage public in preventing corruption, as well as raise public awareness on the need to prevent corruption, with the general objective to strengthen the demand-side for enhanced implementation of the anticorruption policies and zero-tolerance to corruption. The event will take place in Moldova this summer. Companies will develop the event concept, create promotional campaign and organize the hackathon. Following hackathon three winning teams will receive cash prizes and support/coaching from mentors from Civitta, Garage 48 and local experts who are part of the team. Later results will be presented in the National Anticorruption Conference.
The tender for organizing a hackathon was launched by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
