Sprayprinter won the Ajujaht competition in Estonia2016-06-01
Sprayprinter was named the winner of the largest competition of business ideas in Estonia and awarded with 30 000 euros. Second place and 10 000 euros belonged to Foxcademy. Levon became third and was awarded 6 000 euros.
SprayPrinter is a cordless printer which allows to print images from smartphone onto a wall. To print an image with SprayPrinter, you need the device, a smartphone and Sprayprinter application, and some spray paint. No previous knowledge or skills are necessary. The user chooses the image to be printed, connects the printer to a spray paint can and applies the image on the wall pixel by pixel. The promotion video of Sprayprinter can be found here on Youtube. For professional designers, the team will develop an interactive community platform, where the designers can upload their creation and sell it to all of the Sprayprinter users.
Second place winner, Foxcademy, is developing an interactive learning platform that analyses the learning habits of its users. Based on the analysis, the platform creates for each student an individual learning program.
Third place winner, Levon, offers an application that teaches people to sing. Levon is a virtual voice monitor giving intuitive, real-time feedback to beginners as well as advanced singers.
Ajujaht is the largest competition of business ideas in Estonia with 300 ideas competing every year. The TOP7 gets a chance to participate in a TV-show on Estonian national TV. During the eight shows of the past season, the teams had to solve various tasks and constantly defend and develop their project ideas in front of different experts and jury.
Ajujaht was initiated already in 2007 by Enterprise Estonia. The main organiser is up to 2018 Civitta Estonia. CPD OÜ, that Civitta acquired in September 2015, has carried out the contest already since 2012. This fall will welcome the 10th holiday season of Ajujaht.
