CIVITTA was rewarded by UN Global Compact Network

The educational project CIVITTA Academy won "Partnership for Sustainability Award 2020" by UN Global Compact Network in Ukraine.

On November 26, Kyiv hosted the awarding of companies within the Partnership for Sustainability Award 2020 – an international project competition in 5 categories (People, Peace, Planet, Prosperity, COVID-19) organized by the UN Global Compact Network in Ukraine. The competition aims to promote Sustainable Development Goals and partnerships between enterprises, business associations, governments, civil society, and universities. This year, the organizers received more than 150 applications from Ukraine, Belarus, Macedonia, Poland, and Turkey.

CIVITTA received the award in the competition with the project “CIVITTA ACADEMY” in the category “People”, where more than 20 companies took part, including E&Y, Deloitte and others. CIVITTA ACADEMY helps talented students who lack practical skills by conducting appropriate training and giving practically oriented assignments; it helps students to find their first job by giving the opportunity to undergo an internship in one of the leading Belarusian companies.

We have already successfully finished the first season – 25 students received internships – and now carrying out the second season with a new concept of studying by modules on hard and soft skills, marketing, finances and business basics.
