Project description
Over the past few years, there has been a trend of declining donor support throughout Europe. In this regard, the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) sought to find new partners among the largest European corporations and international organizations operating in the region. In addition, it was important for the Federation to better understand the structure and strategies of potential partners in the region.
Main goals of the project
To fulfill the client’s wishes, the following project objectives were identified:
Methodology used
To populate the database, we analyzed the largest potential federation partners operating in 54 European countries. Contact information and geographical presence structure of potential partners were collected from their official websites and other open sources.
To determine the cluster distribution and decision-making offices location, we analyzed employee profiles on LinkedIn.
Main results of the project
As a result of the project, we collected a database including more than 5000 legal entities of the largest corporations and more than 1500 representative offices of public organizations and embassies, operating in 54 countries of Europe. In addition, we also collected the contact information of more than 700 decision makers.
Based on the ocluster distribution and decision-making offices location analysis, we have identified the most promising countries where the client should locate its offices for more efficient fundraising.
