If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for the law and a knack for problem-solving, we want you on our team as a Head of Legal in Civitta and Mediapark group (1-year limited working contract).
In this position, you will be developing and managing legal processes within the group, positioning successful legal campaigns from ideation to execution in different countries, maintaining and distributing tasks for the team of professionals, being ready for all the other different upcoming legal matters.
Your working place will be strategically located in Vilnius, but you will be responsible for the implementation and management of key legal processes in all Civitta and Mediapark offices where today works 800+ people in 32 offices in 20 countries.

You will:

  • Develop and execute the organization’s legal strategy, aligning it with the overall business goals and objectives
  • Establish and maintain legal processes within the Group
  • Managing legal disputes, working with external legal counsel when necessary, conducting internal investigations, and advising on settlement options
  • Oversee and manage the legal department and its employees, including trainings and evaluations
  • Supervise the drafting, review, and all other legal documentation in the organization
  • Lead, advise on legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, preparation of the documents
  • Address data protection and privacy concerns, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations
  • Maintain relationships with external law firms and manage the legal department’s budget and resources effectively
  • Serve as a legal advisor to shareholders, management board members, directors, providing legal opinion on strategic decisions
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and rules to minimize exposure to legal liabilities

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in law
  • At least 7 years of experience in a legal role, working as a senior lawyer or legal manager in an international organization or a similar environment is highly desirable
  • Successful experience leading negotiations on complex, high-value contracts and agreements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring legal team
  • Flawless English and Lithuanian (both written and verbal)
