Sustainable Urban Mobility Junior Consultant or Consultant

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of local (especially cities), regional, national and international institutions as part of a diverse, ambitious, performance-oriented and, most of all, passionate team. The position involves presence in one of our main offices in Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca.

- Help cities and metropolitan areas develop sustainable urban mobility plans, integrated urban development strategies and other sectoral policies, strategies or studies
- Help cities further develop urban mobility projects (feasibility studies, applications for funding and project management)
- Help cities learn from other cities in the EU and transfer important knowledge
- Help national and EU bodies to develop evidence-based policies.
You will be an excellent candidate if you meet as many of the following criteria as possible:
- Are passionate about sustainable urban mobility and want to make a change
- Completed at least Bachelor’s degree in urban planning / architecture / road - rail engineering or transport planning
- Have good communications skills in both Romanian and English (verbal and written) - you will often have the chance to engage in community activities, debates and project meetings
- Have problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset (logical thinking, understanding causes and effects of problems etc.)
- Are used to work with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Have skills in graphic / data visualisation. Experience in GIS and mapping would be quite an advantage as most of us are mapping and infographic junkies
- Have good writing skills as you will be involved in preparing numerous studies and reports
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Have worked at least 2 years in transport / mobility related projects (for Consultant position).
