Civitta Estonia continues to foster development cooperation in Moldova2016-07-22
Civitta Estonia is concluding the second season of entrepreneurship development programme in Moldova, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. Inspired by Ajujaht competition in Estonia, the local Entrepreneurship Cup, initiated in 2014, has developed from regional to national, bringing together business ideas from rural areas all over Moldova. The programme activities are televised by national broadcasting agency Teleradio-Moldova showing the finale live on air in a popular TV show “Buna Seara”.
In 2016 Civitta Estonia and Civitta Moldova are taking entrepreneurship development initiatives in Moldova to a new level, supporting the first business acceleration programme in the framework of yet another development cooperation project. Startup community mapping and international startup conference are only to name a few of the activities in the new project kick-started in June 2016 aiming to bring together Moldova’s startup community to focus efforts in bringing the country closer to achieve international success stories.
The projects are led in partnership with local and international entrepreneurship support organisations BCI Consulting, ODIMM, business incubators (Soroca, Nisporeni, Stefan Voda), Dreamups Innovation Campus, Garage48, Entranse network and others.
