Experts of CIVITTA took part in Belarusian milk forum2016-05-13
On April 28th the second export forum "Milk Belarus" took place in Minsk. The main themes of this forum were diversification of export of national producers, new growth points and ways out of the crisis.
In the final part of the program the associate partner of CIVITTA and expert in strategic marketing Denis Dokuchits shared his thoughts on the strategic and operational consulting in the dairy sector.
“Many domestic producers lack structured marketing and well-established business processes for managing sales and marketing complex. Of course, to be effective competitors and to use marketing as a competitive advantage manufacturers need to introduce on a regular basis a system of marketing information about the market, consumers and competitors, which will be the basis for making correct and effective managerial decisions. Often, to build effective marketing, including the receipt of analytical information, companies use solutions from the outside - consulting. External consultants can not only competently analyze the situation, strengths and weaknesses of the company, but also provide an independent and more objective look at the external and internal environment of the manufacturer”.
During his speech, Denis emphasized on the questions, which the management of the company should ask themselves before planning a business strategy. Answers to these questions are the key to the development of an effective competitive strategy.
In total, more than 200 top managers of dairy companies, business owners and marketing specialists attended this year's forum. The guests and experts had the opportunity to see samples of products of some enterprises in the stands and conduct individual negotiations.
