From developing national strategies and monitoring reforms, to conducting large-scale evaluations or designing capacity-building programmes – our work is grounded in evidence, participation, and tangible results.
We are currently looking for a Consultant to join our Public Sector Advisory team from Romania and contribute to projects with national and international relevance.

You will:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget and allocated resources;
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across project implementation and deliverables;
  • Maintain regular client communication and stakeholder engagement, providing updates and addressing requests;
  • Provide backstopping support to the team of experts, in direct relation to client requests;
  • Conduct desk research (policy, donor, institutional, sector-specific) and data collection and get involved in understanding the implementation context of the project;
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data from a synthetic perspective;
  • Support in development of reports, studies, and presentations tailored to client needs;
  • Track and analyse donor-funded project opportunities in Romania or other countries;
  • Support the development of expression of interests and technical proposals for national and international tenders and be able to identify and match the team of experts to the requirements
  • Work effectively with colleagues and clients in a dynamic and collaborative
  • environment;
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and mentoring of junior colleagues;
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, recommending improvements where needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Management, Communication,
  • Economics, Political Science, Social Sciences, or a related field;
  • 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting, project management, public sector or donor-funded projects;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with research, policy, or implementation data;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills – ability to present complex ideas clearly;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills – ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines;
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive to exceed expectations;
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a multicultural, remote team;
  • Fluency in Romanian and English (written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
  • Prior experience with public procurement, proposal writing, or donor engagement is considered an asset.

Monthly salary between 7000 RON gross/month and 9500 RON gross/month and final salary depends on experience of selected candidate.
