You will:

  • Work in an international consulting environment and contribute meaningfully to proposals and projects at the EU level and in the CEE region;
  • Carry out rapid or detailed desk research into various topics for proposals or project workstreams;
  • Work with statistical databases such as Eurostat, OECD.Stat, World Bank Open Data Platform or the European Data Platform;
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to support proposal and project work;
  • Assist in stakeholder mapping (e.g. listing relevant institutions, companies, experts) and in organising interviews, focus groups, workshops,
  • Draft sections of proposals and reports under the supervision of senior colleagues, and help produce visually appealing and well-structured deliverables;
  • Participate in client meetings, brainstorming sessions and workshops;
  • Collaborate with consultants and senior analysts on project tasks.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a strong academic record in economics, business management, finance or a related field;
  • Interest in public sector consulting, particularly in EU policies, policy analysis and / or technical assistance projects;
  • Strong writing skills in English (minimum C1 proficiency) and fluency in Hungarian;
  • Attention to detail and precision in documentation;
  • Good command of MS Excel / Word / PowerPoint;
  • Solid problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of statistical software packages such as STATA or R is an advantage;
  • Practical experience with survey tools (e.g. Surveymonkey, Qualtrics, Google Forms) is an advantage;
  • Practical experience with content analysis software (such as ATLAS.ti) or spatial data analysis software (such as GEODA) is an advantage.

The final hourly salary for this position ranges from 600000 HUF gross/month to 750000 HUF gross/month and depends on your previous experience and assessment during interviews!
