HOW ABOUT DRIVING INNOVATION IN EUROPEAN CYBERSECURITY?
Our client, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), aims to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity capacities and competitiveness. Working together with a Network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs), the ECCC supports the development of a strong European cybersecurity community. The Centre is located in Bucharest, Romania. Civitta is providing temporary staffing services to the agency.
EU Project Support Assistant
As a EU Project Support Assistant at the ECCC, you will provide administrative and coordination support throughout the lifecycle of calls for proposals. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming questions from applicants, coordinating communication with experts, supporting eligibility and conflict-of-interest checks, and ensuring smooth organisation of evaluation activities.

You will:

  • Coordinate and draft responses to call-related questions
  • Manage communication with experts via a dedicated functional mailbox
  • Support evaluation processes (eligibility checks, CoI checks, contacting panel members, administrative support)
  • Maintain and update the unit’s expert list, including past evaluators
  • Prepare evaluation logistics (planning schedules, expert tables, SEP Webex links)
  • Support expert payment processing by preparing payment parameter tables
  • Contribute to communication materials related to calls for internal and external audiences

Requirements:

  • University degree of at least 3 years of study
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in EU programmes, grants administration, or evaluation support
  • Excellent command of English (C1 level or higher)
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation skills, and ability to follow established procedures
