You will:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex web applications using Yii/Yii2;
  • Write clean, reusable, secure, and well-documented PHP code following best practices;
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and other teams to build
  • seamless user experiences;
  • Take ownership of technical architecture, scalability, performance, and security decisions;
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior or mid-level developers;
  • Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and long-term maintainability;
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues across the full stack, including server, database, and frontend;
  • Stay up to date with modern PHP development, Yii2 ecosystem updates, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with PHP in production environments;
  • 3–4+ years of solid experience with Yii/Yii2 framework;
  • Deep understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful API development;
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, including schema design and query optimization;
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap;
  • Practical experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, and integration with PHP applications;
  • Solid experience using Git for version control and collaborative development;
  • Familiarity with security best practices (input validation, authentication, etc.);
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive features from concept to deployment;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
