As a Senior Data Expert, you’ll be the go-to person for tackling the most complex data challenges faced by Civitta teams. Whether it’s building predictive models, optimizing data pipelines, or creating advanced dashboards, your work will directly support high-stakes decisions across multiple domains.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, translating business questions into robust analytical solutions – from forecasting and segmentation to automation and infrastructure design. Your expertise will bring clarity, structure, and strategy to our data landscape.

You will:

  • Own complex data problems: Support projects across the full data stack — whether it’s deep-dive analytics, predictive modeling, or building scalable data pipelines;
  • Analyze and adapt: Analyze client business needs to identify opportunities and build data solutions that support strategic planning and investment decisions;
  • Design & Develop Power BI Dashboards: Create dynamic, user-friendly dashboards that bring data to life in Power BI, enabling clients to make confident, data-driven decisions. Our dashboards are not only about line charts and tables – they are about telling the story;
  • Develop and maintain Data Architecture for Power BI: Build end-to-end data pipelines optimized for Power BI—connecting to SQL/APIs, designing ETL workflows, and developing data warehouses to ensure seamless reporting. Ensure seamless automation;
  • Drive data analytics projects: Support or lead analytics initiatives – from gathering and cleaning data to delivering insights that create real business impact;
  • Communicate insights clearly: Present findings in a way that’s easy to understand for both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Advise and collaborate: Act as a senior consultant to our teams – recommending tools, improving architecture, helping less-experienced analysts grow;
  • Stay flexible: Projects will vary – from churn prediction models, to BI dashboards, or to data warehouse optimization across various industries and geographies. You’ll shape your role based on your strengths and interests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, data engineering, or advanced data analytics. A combination of these fields is desirable;
  • Strong experience with Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, automation), Python, SQL;
  • Comfort with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), Microsoft Fabric, and other data tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, R, Knime);
  • Excellent communication in English (written & spoken); ability to present complex insights clearly;
  • A proactive mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines;
  • EU citizenship, with preferred residency in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic;
  • Availability to travel 2–3 times per month, depending on project needs;
  • Open to freelance/contract collaboration model (B2B preferred).
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics;
  • Previous exposure to data catalogue management, ETL automation, or low-code/no-code tools;
  • Prior freelance or consulting work with cross-functional teams;

  • Our salary range is between 4000 EUR gross/month and 6000 EUR gross/month and depends on the candidate’s experience and the results of the interviewing process.
