You will:

  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, tested, and performance-optimized code;
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application, plugin, theme, and server-side issues efficiently;
  • Ensure high performance, security, scalability, and availability of WordPress-based solutions, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS lifecycle;
  • Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into responsive, accessible, and high-quality WordPress products, themes, plugins, and features;
  • Collaborate closely with designers, software developers, and project managers to deliver visually appealing, functional, and reliable products on time;
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices and coding standards;
  • Participate in technical planning and decision-making, including architecture choices, task estimation, and risk identification, to support successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in WordPress development;
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery;
  • Experience in creating responsive design websites;
  • Experience with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.;
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers;
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages;
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)’
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git);
  • Experience with WordPress website speed, SEO optimizations;
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development;
  • Proficiency in MySQL or similar databases;
  • Good problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
  • Upper-intermediate level of English;
  • Native level of Lithuanian would be a plus.
