Are you passionate about spatial development and want to make a change in today’s cities? Join us in creating territorial development plans for counties, urban development plans for municipalities or cultural heritage protection projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the territory.
 
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of local (especially municipalities), regional, national and international institutions as part of a diverse, ambitious, performance-oriented and, most of all, passionate team. The position involves presence in our main office in Bucharest or in Cluj-Napoca.

You will:

  • Help counties develop territorial development plans (PATJ);
  • Help cities develop general urban development plans (PUG);
  • Help municipalities and metropolitan areas from Romania or other countries develop sustainable urban mobility plans, integrated urban development strategies and other sectoral policies, strategies or studies;
  • Help local bodies to develop cultural heritage protection plans;
  • Help cities learn from other cities in the EU and transfer important knowledge;
  • Help national and EU bodies to develop evidence-based policies.

Requirements:

  • Passion about urban/territorial development and want to make a change;
  • Passionate about cultural heritage and want to help municipalities preserve historical areas;
  • Completed at least bachelor degree in urban planning / architecture (mandatory);
  • You have worked at least 4 years in urban and/or territorial development projects (PATJ, PUG, PUZ) and/or cultural heritage protection projects in Romania (mandatory);
  • Have good skills in graphic / data visualization. Experience in GIS, CAD and mapping is mandatory as most of our projects include GIS databases;
  • Have good communications skills (verbal and written) – you will often have the chance to engage in community activities, debates and project meetings, committee approval meetings;
  • Have an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills (logical thinking, understanding causes and effects of problems, research oriented etc.);
  • Are used to work with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel;
  • Have good writing skills as you will be involved in preparing numerous studies and reports;
  • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
