EMP Recycling is a Lithuanian company on a mission to turn waste, such as cables, electronics, and catalysts, into high-quality raw materials and maintain a clean environment for future generations. The company recycles approximately 23,000 tons of waste annually and sells raw materials worldwide.
As EMP Recycling celebrates its 25th year in the industry, it decided to rebrand its company. Although they were satisfied with their social media communication strategy, they still needed to reflect their fresh brand identity. Therefore, we proposed to renew it.
Our collaboration with EMP Recycling began in 2021, and we have successfully handled their social media communication ever since. During the first two years of our partnership, we gained extensive knowledge about the client and their values.
This proved beneficial, as we developed a new strategy for social media communication with much greater confidence that we would hit the bullseye. The client greenlit our ideas, and we proceeded with the project.
Our goal was to showcase that EMP Recycling is not just a recycling company but also an organisation that operates under fundamental values. They are committed to creating a cleaner environment for the future by transforming someone’s “garbage” into raw materials that can be used to make another person’s treasure.
Our communication concept is based on the same principles: materials that humans don’t need anymore can be transformed in the future. And we communicate this in practical, easy-to-digest information. Did you know that six refrigerators can become one bike?
From the start, we understood that visual design should be the cool factor in bringing our vision into reality. However, executing it through traditional methods would have been too expensive.
To overcome this, we decided to leverage AI tools to explore new possibilities and create futuristic and artistic visuals using different waste materials. This approach not only enabled us to bring our vision into reality but also helped us save costs for the client.
Our practical, easy-to-understand, creative messages and design aim to inspire people to recycle everything, not just plastic and paper. We are confident that we are on the right track in doing so.
EMP Recycling was very pleased with the concept we presented to them. They have begun using our designs not only on social media but also in promotional stands, conferences, and other forms of communication.
Regarding social media, ever since we launched our new communication strategy, the number of Facebook followers has increased by 30%, and our latest posts are generating 113% higher user engagement.
