HOW ABOUT DRIVING INNOVATION IN EUROPEAN CYBERSECURITY?
Our client, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), aims to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity capacities and competitiveness. Working together with a Network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs), the ECCC supports the development of a strong European cybersecurity community. The Centre is located in Bucharest, Romania. Civitta in cooperation with Humangest is providing temporary staffing services to the agency.
Finance Assistant
As a Finance Assistant at the ECCC, you will contribute to the smooth execution of financial and procurement operations within the Corporate Services Unit. The role focuses on transactional support, financial data entry, document registration, and dashboard maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with EU financial procedures.

You will:

  • Enter and register financial and procurement data in ABAC/SUMMA and other finance tools, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of transactions
  • Support financial commitments, grants, procurement procedures, and related documentation processes
  • Assist in managing the Finance and Procurement Service Portal, including updating financial data and maintaining dashboards to ensure transparent budgetary monitoring
  • Provide administrative support to Financial Officers working on grants, including collecting supporting documents and aggregating financial data
  • Monitor the functional mailbox, follow up on pending actions, and ensure correct document registration in ARES
  • Maintain databases for monitoring provisional commitments and budget consumption

Requirements:

  • University degree of at least 3 years of study
  • Experience in finance and procurement process support, ideally within an EU institutional environment
  • Experience managing databases and financial data
  • Familiarity with EU Financial Regulation
  • Experience with ABAC/SUMMA and COMPASS/PDM is considered an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including dashboard building
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in an international team environment
  • Excellent command of English (C1 level or higher)

  • Salary range: EUR 3,100–3,500 gross per month, depending on experience
