Global Airlines is a luxury airline founded in 2021, emerging from the acquisition of an existing airline.
With ambitious plans for a high-end travel experience, the company needed to rapidly establish a robust digital infrastructure to support ticket sales, flight management, and customer services.
Following the acquisition, Global Airlines quickly realized that it was unprepared for launch. The company had no booking platform in place, preventing passengers from purchasing tickets, and lacked an internal system to manage flights, fares, and additional services.
With just four months until the first scheduled flight, the airline faced a critical deadline: it needed to design, build, and implement a fully operational digital system that could support its luxury standards and operational requirements.
HackTech’s tech team (now part of the Civitta group since September 2025), worked closely with Global Airlines to develop a comprehensive digital foundation within a highly compressed timeline. The approach focused on two key areas: an external booking platform for passengers and an internal management system for airline operations. The team designed a sleek, user-friendly booking website that allowed customers to search flights, select fares, add extras, and complete payments seamlessly.
The platform was fully responsive, providing a consistent experience across mobile and desktop. Simultaneously, an internal management system was developed to handle flight creation, pricing, taxes, and passenger management. Secure payment processing was integrated through Paysafe, ensuring a smooth and reliable customer transaction experience. Throughout the process, HackTech’s team balanced rapid delivery with system reliability, enabling the airline to meet its tight launch deadline.
Within four months, Global Airlines successfully launched its booking and management systems, enabling passengers to book flights online for the first time. The integrated internal platform allowed the airline to efficiently manage operations from pricing and flights to passenger services, meeting both operational needs and luxury service standards.
The rapid development and deployment ensured the airline met its scheduled launch, delivering a seamless digital experience for customers while establishing a scalable foundation for future growth.
