Kevin Murphy co-founded and ran as CEO J.E. Austin Associates, implementing 700 projects in 127 countries related to economic growth, agriculture, and workforce development. Kevin introduced national competitiveness initiatives as a focus of US foreign assistance, and authored related publications and methodologies. He possess a MBA from Harvard Business School, 1982; MPA from Harvard School of Government, 1982; BSFS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, 1977. He is also an Advised former heads of state on policy. Kevin worked on corporate and industry strategies, and is currently focusing on supporting Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in Vietnam with Swiss partners. Also, he is focused on harnessing emerging technologies to boost economic growth and competitiveness in emerging and transition economies, entrepreneurial ecosystems and national innovation strategies. Kevin’s motto is: “Emerging technologies for emerging economies will end severe global poverty in our lifetimes.”
