Take the step towards your journey with us and join us as a Group Chief Accountant, where you will play a key role in driving excellence in financial operations and accounting across our international group. You will directly lead a team of 4 accountants responsible for servicing 10 internal and around 60 external legal entities in Lithuania.

You will:

  • Directly manage an accounting team of 4 in Lithuania that services 10 internal legal entities, with the following scope of work (some of the mentioned internal companies may be assigned to the Chief Accountant for direct responsibility):
  • Provide full accounting and tax support, including consulting on tax matters for the project teams;
  • Communicate with clients regarding requirements under Lithuanian legislation and seek compromise solutions where necessary;
  • Ensure completion of tax, statistical, and financial reporting in accordance with Lithuanian legislation;
  • Control the quality and existence of primary documents;
  • Ensure tax compliance and proactively identify and mitigate possible tax risks and penalties;
  • Manage annual audits;
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and declarations to state authorities (tax inspectorate, statistical authorities, etc.);
  • Monitor and control payables and receivables;
  • Be responsible for payroll and personnel accounting;
  • Be responsible for legal accounting from primary documents till financial report submission;
  • Assure the quality of accounting services provided to approximately 60 external clients in Lithuania by our accounting team. P&L ownership may be considered in the future;
  • Set up accounting standards and quality assurance practices for all in-house and external accountants across the ±25 countries where the group operates;
  • Manage company consolidation at the group level (approximately 40 legal entities across 25 countries);
  • Participate in the rollout and implementation of consolidation software at the group level.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and team management;
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting and Tax Accounting reporting in Lithuania;
  • Advanced level of English and Lithuanian language;
  • Prior experience in consolidating an international group of companies, including experience of consolidation software implementation, would be a strong plus;
  • Problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and administrative skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Proven experience in managing teams of accountants. Working experience in dynamic international teams would be an advantage;
  • Deep experience with Excel/Google Sheets, Rivile accounting system.

The final monthly salary for this position ranges from 3500 EUR gross/month to 4000 EUR gross/month and depends on your previous experience and assessment during interviews!
