Junior Communications Specialist will support the Civitta communications team in preparing and implementing communications, activities and events. This is a great opportunity to be part of large-scale projects in strategic communications, media relations, events, and promoting socially important topics.

You will:

  • Publish pre-approved content on social media (posts, captions, coordination with targeting specialists);
  • Distribute press releases using existing media databases and clarify deadlines;
  • Draft and edit texts such as announcements, email newsletters, and post-event releases;
  • Monitor media coverage;
  • Maintain working documents: guest lists, media databases, content calendars, payments to vendors, etc.;
  • Assist the Head of Communications with various tasks;
  • Communicate with technical contractors (sound, lighting, streaming, translation): coordinate timing and monitor execution;
  • Search for event venues, collect and compare offers, coordinate technical requirements and logistics;
  • Coordinate organizational matters: catering, logistics, printed and branded materials;
  • Handle guest registration, prepare guest lists, communicate with participants, welcome guests onsite, manage seating, badges, and welcome briefings.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience or internship in communications or event organization (a plus);
  • Strong writing skills and basic text editing skills;
  • Basic experience working with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn);
  • You are responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and ambitious about contributing to meaningful projects;
  • You are ready to work in a dynamic environment, respond promptly to requests, and handle diverse tasks;
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English (for basic work with texts and partner correspondence).
