In this role, you will implement international projects focusing on entrepreneurship, organize events and assist with grant writing activities.

You will:

  • Lead and manage international projects related to building the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, ensuring smooth operations, strong client relations, and measurable impact;
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project processes, budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project delivery;
  • Draft project reports, deliverables and presentations on a wide range of topics;
  • Manage project communication activities in coordination with our in-house communication team;
  • Help startups develop their ideas and solutions, and attract funding;
  • Scout startups, SMEs and individuals with innovative ideas to participate in different programs and events;
  • Organize/coordinate ecosystem programs, like accelerations, bootcamps, hackathons, mentoring, networking and other events, etc;
  • Build and nurture relationships with various international ecosystem players;
  • Support EU grants writing processes (eg. Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, LIFE….);
  • Design future entrepreneurial programs and projects;
  • Conduct market research and gather business data to assess market trends;
  • Analyse existing and proposed solutions to identify issues, risks, benefits, and business impacts;
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the team within your scope.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in implementing international projects;
  • Experience in organizing events;
  • Experience in working with diverse client bases, from private sector businesses to public organizations and innovation-focused entities;
  • Experience in proposal and grant writing;
  • Familiarity with startup and innovation ecosystem and business development processes;
  • Strong organizational and communicational skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and drive collaboration;
  • Full professional proficiency in English and native Hungarian;
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace and general digital tools (eg. Microsoft Office);
  • Readiness for business trips;
  • Master’s degree, preferably, but not exclusively, in Innovation Management, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field;
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English, both spoken and written;
  • Experience in implementing Horizon Europe projects and familiarity with the local and international funding ecosystems might be considered an advantage.
