Supporting women-led startups: WeVenture is launched in South Caucasus and Central Asia

Strengthen your business models, expand networks, scale growth, and attract investment with WeVenture. Applications are now open.

WeVenture, supported by the World Bank and implemented by Civitta International, is designed exclusively for women entrepreneurs. It provides a supportive environment where participants can strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, refine their business models, and connect with mentors, peers, and investors who believe in the power of women-led ventures.

About WeVenture

Over 12 weeks, selected participants will engage in interactive workshops, one-on-one mentorship sessions, and practical market testing led by top trainers and investors.The program blends theory with hands-on learning to help you grow your business step by step.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Strengthen your entrepreneurial mindset and overcome growth barriers.
  • Identify and validate your target customers through market research.
  • Develop effective financial models and funding strategies.
  • Build a clear and compelling investment pitch.
  • Negotiate with investors and partners confidently.
  • Prepare for fundraising, business scaling, and international expansion.
  • Join an inspiring community of women entrepreneurs driving change in the region.

At the end of the program, participants will take part in a Demo Day, where they will pitch their businesses to a panel of investors and industry experts.

Top-performing participants will receive monetary and in-kind prizes, including grant funding, professional consulting hours, and visibility opportunities to support the next stage of their business growth.

Who can apply for WeVenture:

  • Women-Owned: At least 51% of the company’s shares are owned by one or more women.
  • Women-Led: At least 20% of ownership is held by women, and the business has: at least one woman in a key leadership role (e.g., CEO, COO, President, or Vice President), or at least 30% women representation on the board (if a board exists).
  • Legally registered business (or in the process of registration) in Armenia, Georgia, or Kazakhstan.
  • Or operating in Armenia, Georgia, or Kazakhstan.
  • Offering an innovative product or service that has moved beyond the idea or concept stage.

 

Disclaimer: For this call, “innovative” means a product, service, or business model that is new or significantly improved in its features, performance, delivery, or approach compared to what is currently available in the market. The innovation should have progressed beyond the idea stage, showing early signs of validation-such as user feedback, pilot results, or first sales.
