At CIVITTA we challenge the traditional consulting industry, mixing smart people with lean processes and structures. We are not afraid to encourage our clients to think out of the box and challenge their own industries. This means asking difficult questions and bringing bold, new ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
We have asked Kristina Korčeková - a senior analyst from the CIVITTA office in Slovakia - to share her thoughts on this.
For me, being a challenger is to discover the world beyond the “I can't, I don't know, it can't be done”. It is to find that there is always another road to take or another push you can give to make things work. Being a challenger means to push the boundaries of the things and paths known.
My freetime is maybe not as exciting as it once was. Mostly, I like cooking and traveling. Given the Covid times, I only get to cook. I do also enjoy adrenaline experiences and trips to the mountains, as well as true crime literature.
Anybody can be a consultant – the more varied and crazy your background, the better! To think differently, the world maybe does not need any more management graduates and finance masters. Study philosophy, history, botany, or chemistry and then bring these perspectives to the world. Any knowledge and any skills are valuable.
