Bike Up, a project promoted by ABIMOTA and co-financed by COMPETE 2020, aimed to reinforce qualified and creative entrepreneurship in the bicycle sector, enhancing the response to societal challenges, through innovative ideas and companies that reinforce competitiveness, digital transformation, sustainable mobility and adjustment to market demands.
Bike Up involved more than 50 activities, 30 locations and 1,300 participants.
Civitta Portugal, then Gestluz Consultores, was responsible for carrying out several of the activities: Events, Bike Map (study about trends and challenges in the sector), Workshops, Sessions in Schools and Universities, Visits to Companies and Entities in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Mentoring, Ideas Competition and Pitch.
At the final event, Bike Finish Line, Ricardo Luz, Partner at Civitta, presented the results of the project and moderated the round table under the theme “The two-wheel sector: transformations, trends, challenges and opportunities”, which included Pedro Conceição from InCycles, Sérgio Rodrigues from Bikap and Thiago Lemos from Swift Carbon.
