Our client, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), is an EU agency working to strengthen financial stability and consumer protection in the insurance and occupational pensions sectors across the European Union. EIOPA promotes supervisory convergence, supports consistent regulatory practices, and enhances cooperation among national authorities.

The Authority is located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Civitta, in cooperation with Synergie Personal Deutschland GmbH, provides temporary staffing services to the agency under an EU Framework Service Contract for interim services

Legal Assistant

As a Legal Assistant at EIOPA, you will provide essential support to the Consumer Protection Department. While your primary day-to-day focus will be driving forward a specific technical assistance project (DG REFORM), you will also step in to support various other projects across the team in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

You will

    • Provide administrative support to the Conduct of Business Oversight Team
    • Assist with procurement processes
    • Monitor deadlines for all project deliverables and ensure the timely delivery of all outputs
    • Monitor conduct of business supervision and legislative-related developments
    • Support the Conduct of Business Policy Team and the Digital Finance Unit as needed

Requirements

    • Post-secondary education in Law (diploma required)

    • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience, preferably in a multicultural environment

    • Experience in an EU institution or agency is considered an asset

    • Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel) and familiarity with AI tools

    • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills

    • Proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with stakeholders

Benefits

    • Full-time temporary role for 3 months, with a possible extension of up to 9 months based on operational needs

    • Hourly salary: €24.56
