Diána became part of Civitta through the acquisition of the innovation agency Design Terminal in Hungary.
I was surprised at first — but in a good way! Unlocking international connections and sharing best practices, especially within my stream, was exciting. As the ecosystem grew, I worried our close-knit team might lose its identity. I soon realized we could keep our culture, while becoming part of something bigger. We didn’t get lost, we just grew together!
During the trainings, I encountered some unfamiliar consulting tasks, which made me curious about how they might fit into my role. But I embraced the challenge, focusing on learning and growing with our international team. Meeting the leadership was a real eye-opener, I got to see consultancy in action, and the friendly vibe made me feel welcomed from day one!
I have to say that, mainly, trusting my skills improved project delivery. One key moment that shaped my career was in my third month, when I had to manage the project alone after my team leader was hospitalized. Presenting solo to 150 people as a project assistant, pushed me out of my comfort zone and proved I could do more!
Another key moment was leading the Womenture project, an international initiative, with Design Terminal as the coordinator. I was grateful for the opportunity — it showed that the organization saw potential in me. Taking ownership of the project helped me grow, not just professionally, but as a leader with vision and structure.
The Womenture program made me realize the hidden challenges women face in business and the transformative power of well-designed support. I was inspired by the Estonian partners’ efficiency. The project focused on business support, networking, and capacity building, helping idea-phase startups build confidence, skills and connections.
The women’s resilience is what stood out to me — they built a true community, showing up despite the challenges. The meta-analysis revealed deep-rooted barriers, so we adapted with flexible schedules, soft skills training and 19 relatable ambassadors.
Yes! I’m excited about our focus on talent development, especially supporting experienced founders who are committed to thinking globally. These entrepreneurs aren’t just dreaming, they’ve made the leap and are driven to solve real-world problems, like those preparing for Silicon Valley programs or major investments.
I can add value by connecting founders with the right mentors, experts and networks to accelerate their growth. It’s about making their development smoother and providing targeted support that matches their ambition. This atmosphere inspires me to grow, too. I enjoy talking to these creative, ambitious entrepreneurs who are ready to take action.
For me, it’s really about getting things done, fast and well. I feel a strong sense of responsibility in everything I do. Of course, I know I can always ask for help, and I’m lucky to have great colleagues who are open to sharing tips and advice.
But at the end of the day, I know that solving the problem or delivering the project is up to me. That sense of ownership is something I carry with me every day. It motivates me to stay focused, make decisions, and move things forward efficiently. It’s become a core part of how I work.
Well, on the personal side, people are often surprised that I don’t drink cold water, not even in the summer, and I don’t drink alcohol either. That usually catches people off guard!
Another small habit that might say something about me, is that I check my task list first thing in the morning, even before coffee. It’s just how I like to start my day: having a clear plan and knowing exactly what I want to get done.
My advice would be: Always keep an eye out for growth opportunities, especially the ones that matter to you personally. Sometimes that means putting in a little extra effort or time, but if it’s something that excites you or helps you grow, it’s worth it!
What stood out to me is the supportive leadership, creating a growth-friendly environment. Civitta’s focus on grants and tenders is perfect for those interested in that area. We work in small teams with strong support from a larger structure, offering the best of both worlds!
