Civitta is expanding its presence in Hungary through the acquisition of dina.agency, a Budapest-based digital product studio.
Dina.agency is a team of designers, developers, and product managers with expertise in UX research, interface design, web and mobile development. They’ve been on the market for nearly 20 years, and their portfolio includes collaborations with some of the most recognised companies in the region.
One of the key clients is Yettel (formerly Telenor), for which dina.agency helped launch a new brand through a scalable digital design system across multiple CEE markets. They also worked with Boxy – one of the largest fulfillment companies in Hungary – as well as Utvonalterv.hu, the country’s first route planning platform.
With this acquisition, Civitta Hungary gains an in-house digital delivery team in Budapest, alongside its existing innovation, funding, and public sector work.
We are proud to welcome Péter Lukács, the founder of dina.agency, who is joining Civitta as a Partner. His extensive experience in building digital products will be key in further expanding our impact in innovation and the development of digital solutions.
“I’m really excited about this next chapter for dina.agency. Over the years, we’ve built a strong team and a solid foundation, and joining forces with Civitta gives us the opportunity to scale that further – both in terms of the projects we take on and the impact we can have. What made this a natural fit is the shared mindset: a strong focus on quality, practical thinking, and delivering real value to clients. I’m confident that together we can build something significantly bigger than we could separately.”

“When we entered Hungary in 2024 with the acquisition of Design Terminal, our focus was on the startup ecosystem. A year and a half later, we have 50 people on the ground covering innovation, funding, public sector consulting, and now digital delivery too. We believe in Hungary’s growth potential, and having this range of capabilities in one place puts us in a good position to contribute to it.”
