Octobank is a commercial bank in Uzbekistan providing services for retail and corporate clients, including payment cards, loans, deposits, cash management, acquiring, and digital banking channels.
The bank is actively expanding its digital footprint and customer base, positioning itself as a technology-driven financial institution focused on scalable online services and rapid product launches.
Key facts include a strong focus on digital banking and online channels, a growing product portfolio, high regulatory and security requirements, a need for a scalable corporate website platform, and marketing-driven content production.
Octobank required a new corporate website that would serve as a central digital communication platform while supporting rapid go-to-market for new banking products and campaigns.
Key challenges included long time-to-market for landing pages, full development dependency for every new page, a fragmented digital experience, growing multilingual content, and strict compliance requirements.
Previously, launching a single landing page required a full production cycle – design, front-end, and back-end – taking up to four weeks. With the bank in an active growth phase, this severely limited marketing agility.
Additional constraints included a regulated banking environment, complex product structures, high traffic expectations, and tight launch timelines.
Building on experience from large-scale banking platforms such as the National Bank of Uzbekistan project, Civitta approached the engagement as an enterprise digital transformation initiative rather than a simple website redesign.
Key Principles:
The project was delivered in close cooperation with Octobank’s internal teams through joint workshops and discovery sessions, iterative prototyping and reviews, phased releases, training sessions for content managers and marketing specialists.
Civitta delivered a full-cycle digital platform for Octobank.uz – covering information architecture, UX/UI design, a proprietary visual page builder, modular component library, multilingual architecture, product page templates, calculators, integration of online application forms, SEO optimisation, CMS configuration, and ongoing technical maintenance.
Quantifiable Outcomes
– Time-to-market for new landing pages reduced from 4 weeks to 30 minutes using the visual page builder
– Significant reduction in dependency on development teams for routine marketing launches
– Faster rollout of new products and campaigns
– Improved operational efficiency of digital teams
– Stable performance under increasing traffic
Qualitative Benefits
– Unified digital brand presence
– Clearer navigation across banking products
– Improved presentation of complex financial services
– Higher trust through consistent UX and transparent content
– Platform ready for further digital expansion
Long-Term Impact
The new website has become Octobank’s primary digital channel and a strategic foundation for future digital initiatives, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
This project demonstrates Civitta’s ability to deliver complex, regulation-heavy digital platforms for financial institutions – enabling business teams to move faster and operate independently.
The approach is highly relevant for commercial banks, state-owned financial institutions, fintech companies, insurance providers, and large enterprises managing high volumes of content.
