Valeriia works where policy meets everyday life. With 5+ years of experience across a range of roles – all of them, in one way or another, tied to Ukraine’s development. She currently leads a social cohesion team and does everything it takes to keep her projects backed by solid analysis. Her home ground is public policy and governance, with a focus on education, social and cultural policy: she builds projects at the point where such services generate real impact and become part of Ukraine’s economy and society. She holds an MA in Public Policy and Governance from the KSE. Valeriia’s other lasting passion runs parallel to all of this: Ukrainian monumental art and architectural heritage. She researches architecture across eras and asks which forms of ownership and maintenance actually keep this heritage alive.
