Civitta and Radar Tech become EIT Food representatives in Ukraine for 2026-2028

Ukraine’s agri-food innovators now have a direct gateway to Europe

Civitta, in consortium Radar Tech, has been granted the status of EIT Food Country Representative Ukraine, member of EIT Community Hub Ukraine

Over the next three years, both teams will systematically support the development of the innovation ecosystem in the agri-food sector and serve as a hub connecting Ukrainian businesses with opportunities across Southern and Eastern Europe.

Direct access to growth opportunities

For startups and SMEs, this means direct access to tools, programs, and partners that support growth and international market entry. We are now the official gateway to Europe’s largest agri-food community – one dedicated to making the food system healthier, more sustainable, and resilient to future challenges.

“We have joined EIT RIS (the Regional Innovation Scheme of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology). This is how EIT helps high-potential countries accelerate technology development and become part of a global community. Ukraine has one of the most powerful agricultural potentials in the world – and the agri-food startups we already see on the market are proof of that. Our mission is to connect Ukrainian innovators with the resources and expertise that the EIT ecosystem provides, and help them compete at the European level.”

Iurii Volodymyr Blavt

Partner at Civitta

At Radar Tech, we began fostering agri-food innovations back in 2017, and for the last three years, we have been systematically running various programs for startups and entrepreneurs in the sector. Our experience shows that Ukrainian solutions are in high demand not just locally, but globally. The EIT Food Country Representative status allows us to build a direct bridge between Ukrainian innovators and the international market. We can now empower entrepreneurs with more tools to build sustainable businesses and accelerate their integration into the European agri-food community.”

Maria Romanova

CEO of Radar Tech

We will be announcing upcoming events and industry activities focused on agri-food entrepreneurship.

We will also share updates on programs and opportunities available to Ukrainian agri-food teams and help facilitate connections with international partners and investors.
